The Office of Student Services is committed to providing the most appropriate service to every R.J. Reynolds High School student. In addition to offering individual counseling, our counselors advise students regarding course selections, promotion standards, graduation requirements as well as with post-high-school planning and preparation.
Resources in Student Services include college handbooks, college applications, financial-aid and scholarship information, SAT/ACT registration packets, and materials covering a wide variety of career opportunities. Students may visit the resource area before and after school or during lunch. Some of the department's materials may be checked out and borrowed through the department secretary.
The Student Services office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Students wishing to see their counselor must make an appointment, except in times of emergency or crisis.
Parents may call the office at 727-2012 to make an appointment with their child's counselor or to schedule a parent-teacher conference. Parents may also request work if their child will be out of school for more than two days.
ATTENTION SENIORS: Make sure to go by Student Services and let Mrs. Holbrook know about your college acceptances!
