We are in need of twelve tutors for our ESL students at Reynolds High School. This entails one hour a week meeting one-on-one with a student. We need nine tutors in math, one in history, one in reading and one in English. There is nothing more fulfilling than providing a positive impact on a student who is struggling, and you could literally be the difference between failure and success for these students. Email Nancy Keshian if you think you could help.Matthew Gfeller Memorial FundAnyone interested in making donations to the Matthew Gfeller Memorial Fund should contact the Winston Salem Foundation.#57 we won't let you down! Take a Moment to Fill Out Your Volunteer FormIf you have not already filled out a Reynolds volunteer form, please do so. If you chair a PTSA committee and have an immediate need for help or have questions, you may contact Noelle Tyner, Volunteer Committee Chair. Also, please take a moment to register with WSFCS and complete its volunteer screening form. (If you registered and were approved last year, your form is good for the life of your service in WSFCS, unless you need to change levels.) There are three volunteer levels. Most will be level 0, but if you are working with children supervised by a faculty member, you're a level 1. Level 2 volunteers work with students in an unsupervised situation and require additional screening.Your One-Time Donation Will Help Ensure Reynolds' LegacyStrengthen the "Pillars of Excellence" by contributing to the R.J. Reynolds High School Legacy Campaign. The annual campaign, begun in 2007, is a combined fund-raising effort of the PTSA and Athletic Booster Club. Families are encouraged to contribute a one-time donation at the beginning of the year to support our school's excellence in academics, athletics, arts, diversity and civic responsibity. Your donation will automatically cover your PTSA membership, and in appreciation of your support, giving at various levels will entitle you to receive valuable benefits! Click here for more on the Legacy Campaign or to make a contribution. It's Time to Shop Like the Demon You AreShow your Reynolds pride with printed t-shirts, sweatshirts and lots of other embellished goods!
